The Dunton and Broughton U8 Tigers are a force to be reckoned with on the football pitch. Playing in the Leicester and District Football League at Level 3, the team has been unstoppable in league play, remaining undefeated last season and only losing one game this season in a friendly against a Level 1 team.

Despite this one loss, the U8 Tigers have continued to impress, showing their skills and determination on the field. In fact, just last week they managed to secure a victory against a Level 1 team, proving that they have what it takes to compete at the highest levels.

But it’s not just their talent on the pitch that sets the U8 Tigers apart. Their manager, Ash Munton, has played a crucial role in their success, not only as a coach but also as a mentor and role model. Mr. Munton has been with the team since they were kids and has dedicated countless hours to their training and development, both on and off the field.

In addition to his work with the team, Mr. Munton and his wife also go above and beyond to make special occasions, like Christmas, extra special for the boys, with parties and presents to show their appreciation for all of their hard work. It’s this kind of dedication and care that has earned Mr. Munton the title of “unsung hero” to the U8 Tigers.
