Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project / Site Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role overseeing projects across the UK, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
✔ Manage projects from initial brief through to completion
✔ Prepare project quotations, cost estimates and scope of works in line with customer requirements
✔ Manage the commercial performance of projects, ensuring they are delivered within agreed budgets
✔ Monitor project expenditure including labour, materials, subcontractors and plant
✔ Identify cost risks and take proactive steps to control project spend
✔ Ensure projects achieve planned financial margins while maintaining quality and safety standards
✔ Develop and monitor project plans
✔ Coordinate and supervise project teams and specialist subcontractors
✔ Provide on-site leadership and supervision during project delivery
✔ Assign tasks to team members and ensure work is completed to required standards
✔ Liaise directly with customers to understand project requirements and deliver bespoke solutions
✔ Monitor project progress and communicate milestones, updates and potential barriers
✔ Write and review risk assessments, method statements and permits to work
✔ Source project materials, negotiate pricing and place orders via company purchasing processes
✔ Ensure suppliers and contractors are properly approved and inducted for site works
✔ Maintain clean, organised sites in line with CDM and safety requirements
✔ Ensure all documentation and company systems are completed correctly
✔ Provide technical support and guidance to project team members
This role involves national travel. While projects will be allocated as close to home as possible, depending on home location, weekday stays away will be required, with accommodation and meals provided by the company.
Your Experience & Qualifications
✔ Strong project or site management experience delivering technical projects within the same industry
✔ SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
✔ NEBOSH or equivalent site safety certification
✔ Experience producing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
✔ Project Management or CDM qualification
✔ Experience delivering projects in mechanical, engineering or hazardous environments
✔ Proven experience leading teams and subcontractors on site
✔ Technical understanding of mechanical or fuel system installations
✔ Full UK driving licence
✔ Able to obtain Full Security Clearance
✔ Ability to work on sites across the UK
