How the CCMY8600M2 Works

The CCMY8600M2 utilises a sliding piston mechanism that automatically adjusts pressure drop through the valve by increasing or decreasing the flow area. The piston is connected via a sealed stem to a diaphragm housed within a separate chamber. One side of the diaphragm is exposed to remotely sensed fuel pressure, while the opposite side references air pressure, enabling precise pressure regulation throughout fuelling operations.

For enhanced safety, the piston is spring-biased to the closed position. This fail-safe design ensures that fuel flow is immediately terminated if the diaphragm fails or the deadman system is activated.
