BMS Group is pleased to announce the commencement of a significant marine fuel infrastructure redevelopment project in Grimsby, involving the replacement of an outdated system and the modernisation of an existing fuel transfer system serving maritime fuel operations.

As part of the project, BMS Group is overseeing the safe decommissioning of outdated fuel infrastructure and the installation of a modern fuel transfer system that meets current industry and environmental standards.
The project works include:
The project requires close coordination across multiple activities, including civil engineering, mechanical and electrical installations and specialist fuel systems expertise, to ensure a seamless transition from the existing outdated infrastructure.
The use of double-skinned pipework provides enhanced environmental protection and leak detection capability, significantly reducing operational risk.
